Graham was born and raised in Derby and started his career in commercial property at Derby City Council. During his time at the City Council he undertook a part-time degree course at De Montfort University and graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Land Management.

In July 2007 Graham joined Salloway as a Valuation Surveyor dealing with various types of valuations, Landlord and Tenant matters and Compulsory Purchase and Compensation issues.

Graham is a keen sportsman whose main passion is football, especially Derby County, of whom he is a season ticket holder.
