Marc Ballard
Senior Surveyor
Marc began his career in property when, as part of his university course at Nottingham Trent University, he undertook a placement year at Mansfield District Council. After a successful placement Marc was retained on a permanent basis by the Council and subsequently completed his degree course in 2003. Obtaining a vast range of marketing, valuation and estate management experience early in his career enabled Marc to successfully qualify as a Chartered Surveyor in 2004. Marc subsequently joined British Waterways in 2005, where his responsibilities included identifying and pursuing waterside development opportunities.
As Senior Surveyor with Salloway, Marc predominately works within the Agency Team. His varied experience and wide knowledge base enables him to provide comprehensive sales and letting advice to clients seeking a 'best value' approach to disposals and acquisitions. In understanding and fulfilling client requirements he provides a flexible and above all professional approach. A strong background in estate management also allows Marc to provide well considered advice on Landlord and Tenant matters, including rent reviews.
Marc enjoys a range of sports and outdoor pursuits. He plays amateur football in the local Saturday league and regularly competes in half marathon events.
